We Build Thermistor & Temperature Sensors

NTC Thermistors | RTDs | Sensor Assemblies | Thermocouples

Sensor Scientific thermistors and RTD temperature sensors are globally recognized for excellent quality, reliability and fast-time response.

Sensor Scientific has been making temperature sensors for nearly three decades; thermistors, assembly design, material and production management are performed from company headquarters in Fairfield, New Jersey, USA.

Sensor Scientific continues to make every effort to maintain and to improve product quality by following ISO 9001 standards. This approach to quality and a fast response to customers ensures Sensor Scientific's leading position in the thermistors and RTD markets.

What is a thermistor?

A thermistor is an electronic component that exhibits a large change in resistance with a change in its body temperature. The word “thermistor” is actually a contraction of the words “thermal resistor”.  NTC thermistors have definite features and advantages which make them ideal for certain sensor applications.
